Founded: “Officially” in 2006 by the principals of Gang & Gang and Trephine.

Details: Introduced by a mutual client in 1994, Steve Gang, founder of Gang & Gang, and Bill Mount, founder of Trephine, worked together successfully for more than a decade until, in mid-2005, tired of answering questions about why they carried different business cards and fed up with clients’ accounting departments who all seemed to have trouble cutting two different checks to two different companies to pay for one project, decided to simplify everbody’s life and create a new business in which they could continue to work together. After spending an embarrassing amount of time deciding what to call the new company, G2M, LLC was launched in January of 2006.
